Oh Boy… has it really been 9 months since I had my last swim? Yep! I can’t believe how time flies, and I can’t believe how great of a memory our bodies have. I’m not going to lie to anyone…. including myself, I didn’t pick right back up where I left off — but all in all — I felt great. My breathing was still smooth, I actually felt more buoyant in the water. I’m hoping that’s from all the core rehabilitation I’ve been doing and not the fact that my body fat might be up. I really do miss the solitude of the pool. I will be back for more!

  • Today’s workout:  Swim 7 x 100 meters — with 30 second rest between sets.
  • Felt: Pretty good! Shoulders are going to be sore.
  • Duration: Not sure but think it was about 30 minutes
