Boot Run

Event

  • 5k
  • Date: Saturday, September 8, 2012
  • Location: Meridian Center
  • Time: 8:00am

Our mission is to raise support for Not Alone and other military causes by encouraging individuals to purchase a pair of Boot Campaign combat boots to wear during the Boot Run. By wearing the boots, everyday Americans will get a chance to support our nation’s warriors by essentially walking a mile in their shoes. Imagine thousands of people trading in their Nikes for combat boots to run through the streets of Nashville with a powerful message of camaraderie and gratitude for those who serve our nation!

Sponsorship

Your generous sponsorship will allow every dollar raised to go directly to Not Alone and other military charities. Please join us in the fight!

Available sponsorships include Naming Sponsor, Presenting Sponsors, Booth, Vendor and food/beverage sponsorships.

If you would like to become an official Boot Run sponsor please download the sponsorship package.

Please contact danielle@notalone.com for more details.

Not Alone

Not Alone’s concern is for those suffering the more common, but less recognized war trauma: the invisible psychological wounds of war. Not Alone, a program of Centerstone, is a national not-for-profit organization that provides confidential, no-cost support and services to soldier, combat veterans and their loved ones impacted by combat stress and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Boot Campaign

The Boot Campaign is a grassroots initiative started by five women from Texas known as the Boot Girls. The campaign provides an easy and tangible way for Americans to show appreciation for troops (both past and present), raise awareness of the challenges they face upon return and donate funds to charities supporting their transition home. Proceeds from boot sales are donated to partner charities, who assist returning veterans and active troops dealing with emotional, mental and physical issues. Visit bootcampaign.com.
